Hi Dr Marius,
I have a new and intermittent tingling in right hand and thumb. The sensation travels up my arm and to neck on occasion. I am finding it hard to sleep but I am not in pain but I feel an unpleasant sensation that affects movement an wakes me up. Pushing my fingertips together in a stretch helps as does shaking the hand and wrist.
What do you recommend and please explain the consultation process and fees.

Tengo un hormigueo nuevo e intermitente en la mano y el pulgar derechos. La sensación sube por mi brazo y hasta el cuello en ocasiones. Me cuesta dormir pero no tengo dolor, pero siento un malestar que afecta el movimiento y me despierta. Juntar las yemas de los dedos en un estiramiento ayuda al igual que sacudir la mano y la muñeca. Llevo una mano con una férula para la muñeca diseñada para mantener la muñeca recta.
¿Qué recomienda y explique el proceso de consulta y las tarifas?

Thank you for your message. Tingling, numbness and loss of power are nerve related symptoms. You may have a compression neuropathy like carpal tunnel syndrome or a nerve root compression into your cervical spine.
A clinical examination may bring some information but sometimes further scans are necessary. I consult in Marbella at HC Hospital. An initial consultation fee is 215€
